23rd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Está na hora de começar a se programar para ver este maravilhoso festival que o Epcot traz durante a primavera. Um festival de flores e jardinagem que embeleza o parque de maneira muito peculiar.

O festival costumava durar 75 dias. Este ano teremos 90 dias de festival. Do dia 2 de março ao dia 30 de maio.

Algumas das maravilhas que vamos ver este ano são:

• Aproximadamente 100 personagens (topiaries ) esculpidos com plantas. Entre eles, destaque especial para os sobrinhos do Donald que serão criados pela primeira vez este ano. Inspirados por uma estória em quadrinhos de 1943, chamada "The Victory Garden".
• O Ranger Mickey será criado com uma localizaçao especial que dará a todos a oportunidade de fazer fotos e selfies com ele, tendo a Spaceship Earth como pano de fundo .
• Um jardim para as crianças brincarem com Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pateta e Pluto e instrumentos musicais que serão criandos em cima de estruturas de escalada infantil (aqueles brinquedos dos parquinhos).
• Mais de 10 mini-jardins espalhados pelo parque. Entre eles um jardim de flores comestíveis , perto do pavilhão de Marrocos.

• Um jardim chamado "Butterflies on the go" que mostra as borboletas Monarcas saindo de seus casulos.

Uma deliciosa maneira de comemorar o fim do inverno!

The forecast for 2016 festival fun is sunny and bright:

• In a horticultural nod to the brightest star in Earth’s orbit, Disney gardeners will paint the landscape with golden colors that will begin with a Floral Sun garden behind Spaceship Earth and yellow “sunbursts” that pop up across the Future World landscape. By night, twinkling lights will shine across festival gardens.

• New culinary creations will star at the festival’s Outdoor Kitchens where, for the fourth festival year, guests can taste garden- and spring-inspired food and beverages and have their complimentary Garden Passports stamped.

• The first-ever Huey, Dewey and Louie topiaries will feature floral characteristics of Donald’s nephews inspired by a 1943 Donald Duck comic book called “The Victory Garden.”

• The Ranger Mickey topiary garden in Future World will offer a guest selfie and family photo opportunity featuring a Spaceship Earth backdrop.

• An innovative new “Fab Five” play garden featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck topiaries will debut with musical instruments built into children’s outdoor climbing systems.

• Anna and Elsa topiaries will travel to the Norway pavilion festival landscape after their 2015 debut along World Showcase Plaza in a scene from the blockbuster Oscar-winning animated film, “Frozen.” Nearly 100 topiary characters, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and the Tramp, Simba and Peter Pan, will animate the Epcot landscape surrounded by sweeping garden beds and exhibits.

• The Garden Rocks concert series will present pop bands with music spanning four decades.

• More than 10 mini-gardens will surprise guests around every corner. A new edible flower garden near Morocco pavilion will showcase petals with flavor.

• The Butterflies on the Go garden will return with the story of the Monarch’s epic journey across the continent and will feature butterflies emerging from their chrysalises.

• Disney gardeners will lead weekend how-to Gardening Seminars at the Festival Center, where guests also can pick up signature festival merchandise. Guest experts will conduct complimentary seminars on a wide range of gardening and outdoor living topics.

• When the sun sets, illuminated topiary and play gardens will glow brightly for an after-dark festival experience.

“We work hard every year to bring new features and fresh fun to our festival,” says Eric Darden, festival horticulture manager. “We’re telling new stories with our flowers and plants, and every year there are surprises for our guests including new Outdoor Kitchen tastes.”
Dozens of Disney-crafted “flower towers” and beds of multi-colored blooms will add to the floral splendor of the park’s landscape.  At least 70,000 bedding plants will surround the Future World east and west lakes alone; on the water, 220 mini-gardens will be set afloat.

Italian Flag Throwing no Epcot

Performance tipica da Italia, tem sua orígem nos tempos da guerra, na defesa da bandeira junto aos guerreiros.
Hoje em dia tornou-se uma bonita performance folclórica.
Não percam este show no Epcot. Consulte os panfletos do parque para ver em quais horários o show estará sendo apresentado.

Rider Switch

Se alguém no seu grupo não tem a altura requerida para uma atração ou simplesmente não quer ir, aproxime-se de um membro do elenco (tem sempre um próximo a entrada) e diga que quer usar o Rider switch. Ele vai prover o grupo com um passe, para que o adulto que vai ficar com a(s) criança(s) possa trocar de lugar com outro adulto que já foi na atração sem ter que enfrentar fila novamente. Vamos dizer que seu grupo é composto de dois adultos, um adolescente e uma criança. Adulto  (1) fica com a criança enquanto adulto(2) visita a atração com o adolescente. Depois, adulto (1) visita a atração com o adolescente (porque ir sozinho não teria graça) enquanto adulto(2) fica com a criança. Somente uma pessoa poderá visitar a atração duas vezes; ok?

Tudo muda na Disney com muita rapidez, somente os membros do elenco são capazes de acompanhar todas as mudanças e ajudar os hóspedes da melhor maneira possível. 

Wishes - Show noturno do Magic Kingdom

Wishes é o show noturno de fogos de artifício que toma conta do céu do parque todas as noites. 

O show substituiu o Fantasy in the sky que já completava 32 anos.

Wishes é narrado por Jiminy Cricket - o grilo falante do Pinocchio. E conta com a presença da Tinkerbell - Fada Sininho, que sai voando do Castelo durante o show.

A Disney faz espetáculos lindíssimos e eu recomendo a todos que fiquem para assistir ao menos um dia. 

Epcot e Hollywood Studios também tem seus shows noturnos. Mas a magia do Magic Kingdom fica encantadora com o brilho dos fogos.

Belle conversa com as crianças

Belle é um personagem que vale a pena parar pra conhecer. Nosso encontro com ela foi no Epcot. Chegue um pouco antes do horário e fique esperando na fila. A fila cresce muito mais depois que o personagem já está ali. 

A dica é assistir novamente os seus filmes favoritos antes da viagem. Assim,  você tem a estória fresca na memória para conversar. È uma delícia, até mesmo para os adultos, a possibilidade de conversar com estes personagens. Escolha o seu favorito !

É mais fácil encontrar as princesas no Epcot. Por ter um apelo maior com o público adulto, as filas para os personagens não são tão gigantescas. Por isso, se você não tiver muito tempo, pense em encontrar os personagens no Epcot ao invés de fazer isso no Magic Kingdom. Pode ser uma maneira de deixar a todos feliz.

Seria interessante se os príncipes aparececem também para os autógrafos... Quem concorda?

Le Cellier Steakhouse - Epcot

Nesta construção tradicional do leste canadense, você encontrará um dos restaurantes mais interessantes da Disney, na minha opinião. 

A culinária do Canadá é deliciosa. Cheddar Cheese Soup, peixe, carneiro, filé, mousse de chocolate e maple crème brûlée são algumas das deliciosas opções do cardápio.

Você pode fazer sua reserva para este restaurante através do site , com até 180 dias de antecedência.  É um restaurante bastante concorrido e eu recomento reservas.

Frozen Ever After - Nova atração do Epcot

“Frozen Ever After,” é uma atração que está sendo construída no Pavilhão da Noruega, no Epcot. A atração vai ser um passeio pelo reino de Arendelle e ficará pronta em 2016, provavelmente para o verão.
A Disney acaba de divulgar esta primeira foto do que vai ser esta nova atração. Parece fantástica.
Uma atração criada com novas tecnologias, aliadas a maravilhosa trilha sonora do filme e suas cenas e personagens tão queridos dos pequenos! Estou ansiosa para ver.
Os adoráveis Snowgies do curta "Frozen Fever" também vão fazer parte da atração! Imperdível!

As ruas do Pavilhão da Inglaterra são extremamente charmosas, com suas representações de diversos estilos, suas lojas e restaurantes .

 Aproveitando o charme da Inglaterra, não deixe de trazer seus cartões postais ou qualquer correspondência que você queira postar... diretamente da Disney. Não deixe de fazer uma foto!

Você encontra cartões postais e selos nas lojas do parque.

 E para relaxar, uma rodada de cerveja com filé de peixe a milanesa e batatas fritas. Isto é para os Ingleses o que o Filé com fritas é para os Brasileiros. Um aperitivo tipicamente inglês. Fish & Chips.

Turtle Talk with Crush - A tartaruga animada do Epcot

Esta tartaruga chamada Crush é sucesso garantido com a criançada. Em uma pequena sala, a audiência senta-se no chão e conversa com a tartaruga. Com a ajuda de um Cast Member que leva o microfone até a criança , a tartaruga aponta com qual criança vai conversar e realmente responde as perguntas que aparecem na hora. A finalidade do encontro é educativa para ambos os lados. A tartaruga quer saber mais sobre os humanos e se dispõe a responder perguntas sobre as tartarugas. Uma aula bem divertida!

Pavilhão da China

O Pavilhão da China é realmente muito bonito, com sua réplica do Altar dos Céus, um conjunto de prédios religiosos situado em Beijing. Dentro deste templo você vai assistir a um filme  de 13 minutos sobre a China no Circle Vision 360º. Um cinema composto por nove telas ordenadas em círculo para te dar uma visão 360º . Neste Tour você vai ver coisas como a Grande Muralha e a Cidade Proibida. Não há cadeiras no cinema, devido ao efeito 360º, você assiste ao filme em pé. Algumas pessoas tem enjôos , tipo aqueles que se tem ao viajar de carro.

Pavilhão da Alemanha II

 O trem de brinquedo que toda criança sonha em ter está aqui. Ao lado do Pavilhão da Alemanha, uma cidade miniatura com todos os detalhes que só a Disney sabe criar. É tão detalhada e tão linda que até os adultos gastam bastante tempo admirando. Imagine as crianças!

 Para quem se posiciona de frente para a Vila Alemã, esta pequena cidade se localiza a direita da Vila.
Caso não seja uma época muito movimentada, é possível tomar uma cerveja nos bancos que se localizam em frente e deixar a criançada admirar os trens por algum tempo.

A magia deste lugar vai ficar na memória das crianças, com toda certeza.

Pavilhão da Alemanha - Epcot

A linda vila consegue transporta-lo para a Alemanha. 

Assim como no Pavilhão da Inglaterra, não encontramos atrações aqui. Mas maravilhosas lojas e restaurantes. O lugar perfeito para uma cerveja gelada, sem esquecer os caramelos.

O Biergarten Restaurant oferece entretenimento durante o jantar com músicos e bailarinos. 

Estamos também falando da casa da Branca de Neve! A Princesa Primeira!

Aqui, ao lado do Poço dos Desejos, você vai encontrar a Princesa dando as boas vindas aos convidados, pousando para fotos e ajudando os pequenos a sonhar.

Inglaterra

 O pavilhão da Inglaterra exibe uma riqueza de detalhes maravilhosa. Nenhum detalhe foi esquecido. Os requintes da arquitetura inglesa, os jardins, o pavimento...  O pavilhão não tem nenhuma atração, mas muitas lojas e bons restaurantes. Não deixe de parar para saborear o tradicional fish com chips.

 Lugar perfeito para se achar aquele presente de casamento que você precisa comprar. Os melhores chás e bules lindíssimos.

As cabines telefônicas também estão presentes e você não vai resistir a fazer uma foto.
Na Inglaterra você vai encontrar dois personagens muito queridos e interessantes : Alice e Mary Poppins!

The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion - Epcot

 Esse pavilhão faz bastante sucesso com os pequenos. E além das atrações disponíveis,          " Finding Nemo e Turtle Talk with Crush, 

você vai encontrar este maravilhoso Playground Educacional sobre tubarões.
As crianças vão aprender muitas coisas de uma forma muito lúdica e interessante.

Reserve um tempinho para permitir que eles brinquem e se divirtam um pouco por aqui e eles construirão belas memórias deste pavilhão . Além de permitir que eles gastem um pouco daquela energia acumulada , pois as crianças precisam colocar as mãos na brincadeira para que ela se torne mais real.

Acompanhe-os e tenha a certeza de que você vai aprender muito junto com eles.

Leave a Legacy at Epcot

O programa foi lançado na Celebração do Milênio, no final do ano de 1999. Criado por John Hench , um imagineer que ajudou a desenhar e construir a Disneylândia e foi Diretor de Arte do Epcot . Ele projetou a praça, assim como a Spaceship Earth (símbolo do parque). Neste programa, as pessoas eram fotografadas e a fotografia digital transferida para essas placas de aço. As placas eram então aplicadas a essas colunas de granito. Desta forma, muitas pessoas que visitaram o parque puderam deixar sua marca no local. O programa foi encerrado em 2007. Se você teve sua imagem gravada, o Camera Center, embaixo da Spaceship Earth tem uma estação localizadora do Leave a Legacy pra te ajudar a encontrar a sua placa.

Vamos a França!

 A atenção aos detalhes faz você se sentir em Paris.
E estão presentes as tradicionais colunas francesas que servem como mural informativo/cultural.

Além de aproveitar as delícias desta Praça Parisiense, assita ao filme . Impressions de France vai te levar a conhecer a França em 20 minutos.
Uma boa opção também é deixar para tomar o café da manhã aqui; a base de pães, queijos e frios, como deve ser.

Silhouettes - torne suas férias inesquecíveis.

Neste carrinho trabalham artistas que recortam a sua silhueta em papel. Um trabalho incrível, executado em coisa de dois minutos. Eles são rápidos. Estes carrinhos são encontrados em alguns locais . No Magic Kingdom um carro fica na Main Street, do lado direito de quem está olhando para o castelo. Tem um outro no Liberty Square, ainda no Magic Kingdom. Existe um no DownTown Diney e um Easel nas ruas da França - Epcot.
Essa dica é especialmente importante para quem está vindo pela primeira vez. É tanta coisa pra ver... a pessoa está olhando para todos os lados, e pequenos detalhes como este que podem marcar sua viagem costumam passar desapercebidos.

A visita ao Mickey fica um pouco mais cara

A Disney aumentou o preço das entradas nos parques.
O ingresso para o Magic Kingdom, que antes custava U$ 99.00, subiu para U$ 105.00. O ingresso infantil (3 a 9 anos) subiu de U$ 93.00 para U$ 99.00.
Nos outros parques o ingresso passa de U$ 94.00 para U$ 97.00 e o infantil de  U$ 88.00 para U$ 91.00.
Este é o preco de um ingresso único. Dependendo do número de ingressos (dias) que você compra este preço se altera de acordo com a tabela abaixo. Quando você compra ingressos para dois dias ou mais os preços valem para qualquer um dos quatro parques. Um parque por dia.

Uma dica interessante para quem não vai se hospedar na Disney e receberá um cartão plástico (os ingressos). Cada cartão deve ser utilizado pela mesma pessoa, todos os dias. Quando você entra no parque as máquinas lêem o cartão e a sua impressão digital. Você poderá sair e voltar ao mesmo parque quantas vezes quiser mas deve usar sempre o mesmo cartão.
