23rd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Está na hora de começar a se programar para ver este maravilhoso festival que o Epcot traz durante a primavera. Um festival de flores e jardinagem que embeleza o parque de maneira muito peculiar.

O festival costumava durar 75 dias. Este ano teremos 90 dias de festival. Do dia 2 de março ao dia 30 de maio.

Algumas das maravilhas que vamos ver este ano são:

• Aproximadamente 100 personagens (topiaries ) esculpidos com plantas. Entre eles, destaque especial para os sobrinhos do Donald que serão criados pela primeira vez este ano. Inspirados por uma estória em quadrinhos de 1943, chamada "The Victory Garden".
• O Ranger Mickey será criado com uma localizaçao especial que dará a todos a oportunidade de fazer fotos e selfies com ele, tendo a Spaceship Earth como pano de fundo .
• Um jardim para as crianças brincarem com Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pateta e Pluto e instrumentos musicais que serão criandos em cima de estruturas de escalada infantil (aqueles brinquedos dos parquinhos).
• Mais de 10 mini-jardins espalhados pelo parque. Entre eles um jardim de flores comestíveis , perto do pavilhão de Marrocos.

• Um jardim chamado "Butterflies on the go" que mostra as borboletas Monarcas saindo de seus casulos.

Uma deliciosa maneira de comemorar o fim do inverno!

The forecast for 2016 festival fun is sunny and bright:

• In a horticultural nod to the brightest star in Earth’s orbit, Disney gardeners will paint the landscape with golden colors that will begin with a Floral Sun garden behind Spaceship Earth and yellow “sunbursts” that pop up across the Future World landscape. By night, twinkling lights will shine across festival gardens.

• New culinary creations will star at the festival’s Outdoor Kitchens where, for the fourth festival year, guests can taste garden- and spring-inspired food and beverages and have their complimentary Garden Passports stamped.

• The first-ever Huey, Dewey and Louie topiaries will feature floral characteristics of Donald’s nephews inspired by a 1943 Donald Duck comic book called “The Victory Garden.”

• The Ranger Mickey topiary garden in Future World will offer a guest selfie and family photo opportunity featuring a Spaceship Earth backdrop.

• An innovative new “Fab Five” play garden featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck topiaries will debut with musical instruments built into children’s outdoor climbing systems.

• Anna and Elsa topiaries will travel to the Norway pavilion festival landscape after their 2015 debut along World Showcase Plaza in a scene from the blockbuster Oscar-winning animated film, “Frozen.” Nearly 100 topiary characters, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and the Tramp, Simba and Peter Pan, will animate the Epcot landscape surrounded by sweeping garden beds and exhibits.

• The Garden Rocks concert series will present pop bands with music spanning four decades.

• More than 10 mini-gardens will surprise guests around every corner. A new edible flower garden near Morocco pavilion will showcase petals with flavor.

• The Butterflies on the Go garden will return with the story of the Monarch’s epic journey across the continent and will feature butterflies emerging from their chrysalises.

• Disney gardeners will lead weekend how-to Gardening Seminars at the Festival Center, where guests also can pick up signature festival merchandise. Guest experts will conduct complimentary seminars on a wide range of gardening and outdoor living topics.

• When the sun sets, illuminated topiary and play gardens will glow brightly for an after-dark festival experience.

“We work hard every year to bring new features and fresh fun to our festival,” says Eric Darden, festival horticulture manager. “We’re telling new stories with our flowers and plants, and every year there are surprises for our guests including new Outdoor Kitchen tastes.”
Dozens of Disney-crafted “flower towers” and beds of multi-colored blooms will add to the floral splendor of the park’s landscape.  At least 70,000 bedding plants will surround the Future World east and west lakes alone; on the water, 220 mini-gardens will be set afloat.

A Disney vai transmitir o show ao vivo, através do seu blog, no dia 8 de novembro. O show começará as 21:15 (horário de Brasília).

Outono no Magic Kingdom

 O outono é uma estação muito bonita, e valorizada na cultura americana.
E com o outono vem o Halloween. O Magic Kingdom , parque que oferece uma festa de Halloween nesta temporada, se enfeita para as festividades.

 Além das decorações, algumas guloseimas tradicionais são oferecidas apenas nesta época do ano.
Na Taverna do Gaston você vai encontrar este cupcake "fantasminha". No Plaza Ice Cream Parlor , este maravilhoso ice cream sandwich. O cookie, sem o sorvete, pode ser encontrado na Main Street Bakery, assim como o Spider Cupcake abaixo e outras delicias espalhadas pelo parque!

Halloween no Magic Kingdom - Myckey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

 A festa de halloween no Magic Kingdom já foi marcada. São dias especialmente marcados, para os quais você precisa de um ingresso especial (além do ingresso normal para o parque).

As crianças participam da famosa brincadeira de "trick or treat", ganhando doces pelo parque. 

Shows especiais com os vilões da Disney, os personagens usam suas fantasias, os fantasmas da Haunted House participam do desfile, pelas ruas do parque.

Jack e Sally, o casal de Nightmare Before Christmas estarão presentes também. Oportunidade única de ver estes personagens que não aparecem em outras datas.

A festa acontecerá nos dias 15,18,20,22,25 e 27 de setembro; 1,2,4,6,8,9,12,13,15,16,18,20,22,23,25,27,29 e 31 de outubro e 1 de novembro. 

O ingresso para a festa custa U$68,00 adultos ; U$ 63,00 crianças de 3 a 9 anos.

A festa acontece das 19 horas até a meia-noite e você pode usar sua melhor fantasia.

Todo o parque estará iluminado e enfeitado com as cores do halloween.

A festa é chamada Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party . Uma festa de Halloween não tão assustadora. Afinal, as crianças são convidadas de honra nesta festa.
Não deixe de assistir aos shows: Happy Hallowishes, com fogos de artifício laranja e grandes abóboras projetadas no castelo. e Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade.
Em frontierland você verá também um quarteto de cowboys mortos que cantam e contam piadas, no estilo dos Dapper Dans.
A diversão será intensa nessas cinco horas de festa!

Frozen Royal Welcome

 Toda manhã, Anna, Elsa and Olaf chegam ao Hollywood studios em uma parada, com os habitantes de Arandelle.

Nada melhor do que começar o dia assistindo uma parada como esta.

Na parada deste ano notamos algumas diferenças:

Vemos a Princesa Anna sozinha na carruagem, que foi pintada com cores e motivos que combinam melhor com a personagem.

 Vemos a Rainha Elsa caminhando ao lado do que parece ser o castelo de gelo, também uma novidade na parada deste ano.

E por fim, temos a presença deliciosa de Olaf na parada.

Não deixe de dar as boas vindas a querida Rainha Elsa de Arandelle, sua irmã e seus súditos que organizarão vários eventos para festejar o verão no Hollywood Studios.
